Stewardship… …With the state of our economy, we are facing difficult and challenging times. Our economic bubble of prosperity has burst. We are surrounded by bad news with house values declining, major companies needing government bailouts, and people losing their jobs. As God’s people, we need to place our trust in Him and refuse to let the current economy rob us of our peace and joy. In the same way that Merrill Lynch is bullish on America, let’s also be bullish on our futures knowing that God is in control.

Prayer Before Service… O Lord, Your mercies are new each day and You call us under the protection of Your grace and mercy this day. Open the eyes of our hearts to Your merciful presence in Your word and in Your precious body and blood, given and shed for us, for our salvation and the glory of Your name. Amen
