Prayer Before Service… Gracious Savior, You command both the wind and the waves and they must obey Your voice. Command us this day in grace by the saving truth of Your word that we would be drawn into Your protecting and comforting presence and be lifted by Your completed work of salvation; You, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit are one God, world without end. Amen.

Parent Meeting…For Parents with kids Preschool to high school next Sunday, August 16th at 10:15 am. We will talk about Sunday School, Confirmation and Jesus Company. We will discuss our plan for the upcoming school year.

Tuesday Morning… On August 11th at 9:00 am in the fellowship hall. Bring your own coffee mug & Bible. We will continue in our study of Acts.

Faith in Action…Will meet on Tuesday, August 11th at 6:00 pm.

Church & LWML Mite Offerings…You may mail them to the church or stop by the church office and drop them off.

No Thursday Night Bible Study…Will resume in the fall.

Pastor Visits…If as far as you know you are healthy and I know I’m healthy I would love to visit homebound and others who may be staying home because of the coronavirus and bring God’s Word and Jesus΄ body and blood in the Sacrament to you. Call Diane at the church office to set up an appointment 831-3522.

Financial Counters… The 3 head Treasurers will be counting the contribution money thru the summer months.

Wednesday Evening Worship… If you feel more comfortable with a smaller group of congregational members or are gone on the weekends, please join us for our Wednesday evening worship service at 6:30 pm.Andy Underwood Surgery…Andy is the husband of Katie Maras. Will have heart surgery on Wed., Aug 12th at North Central Heart in Sioux Falls. This is a very serious & extensive surgery. They will be replacing his aorta, a valve, plus some other repairs. He has a Facebook group similar to Caring Bridge. His group on Facebook is:
AU2020 Open Heart Surgery. Andy has posted the bios of his surgeons – very interesting & informative.

Saturday Men’s Bible Breakfast… On August 15th at 8:00 am. We will continue to study our current book.

Faith in Action…Need help around your house, please call Larry Salzwedel at 831-0008 or Jim Vellema at 831-1475. Larry Salzwedel is now the chairman of the Faith in Action committee. If you can help deliver food from the food shelf, please call Larry Salzwedel or Jim Vellema.

Join us for our Sunday Morning 9:00 Worship Services or the Wednesday Evening Worship Service at 6:30 pm.

The Churches have opened up to 50% capacity.
