Alleluia Verse

Alleluia. Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you. Alleluia.      Matt. 1:23a

Prayer before Service . . . Dear Lord and Redeemer, You remind us as we gather in Your name this day that You are with us, that You have redeemed us from all our enemies and now rejoice over us, the ransomed. Move us by the power of the spirit working through Your means of grace to know this and rejoice in this all our days; through Jesus Christ our King and Savior. Amen.

Lutheran Hour “In Anxious Times, Rejoice!” Guest Speaker: Rev. Dr. Anthony (Tony) Cook. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. With anxiety on the rise, the Apostle Paul’s call to “rejoice always” seems all but unobtainable. While there are many helpful ways to cope with society’s increasing anxiety, Paul points us to a frequently overlooked source of joy and peace, God’s grace in Christ.
